Can Do Missions

At the end of Matthew 28, Jesus instructs us to “go and make disciples of all nations.”  Elevate Student Ministries has been given the incredible opportunity to answer Jesus’ final command on this earth.  This summer we plan on replacing camp with a mission trip to Austin, Tx.  We will be partnering with Christ Among Nations, and Church Under The Bridge to take part in various ministry opportunities such as serving meals to street youth, re-organizing a food pantry, working and serving in a Homeless shelter,  evangelism, construction/clean up projects for local churches and life works.  Our hope for traveling to Austin is to be able to see a number of people come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to transform our youth's lives.

Christ Among Nations Missions was created in 1992 and introduced at the 1993 GLORYBOUND (the Texas District Youth Gathering), CAN-DO Missions is a vehicle to actively involve the youth and adults of our congregations in Christ’s great commission to “Go and make disciples of all nations”.

Through short-term mission trips to locations around the United States and the world, CAN-DO provides opportunities for youth and adults to support specific missions with their financial gifts and volunteer hands-on labor. As a result of these experiences, the lives of youth and adults are changed significantly and a greater passion for missions is ignited.  You can get more info at can-do.concordia.edu. This trip will cost $300 per student.  Fundraising will be the only way we will be able to fund this project.  Thank you for your support and prayers!
