Young Life

 

Teens at Camp having a great time--now that's a memory they'll never forget! We're here for EVERY teen in the Ojai Valley and we'd love to see all of them at Camp! Young Life programs go year round, and we're working with teens every day in the Ojai Valley. We're not focused on the superstar student nor the at-risk teen, but rather every teen from every walk of life. Every year, we reach out to teens from our high schools and Junior High, including Nordhoff, Villanova, Chaparral and Matilija. Our leaders can be found at the skate park after school, tutoring or coaching at the local high schools, and hanging with kids in their favorite places. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. From our weekly "club" meetings to summer camp, Young Life provides a safe place for teens to find meaning in their lives. They learn, they question, they seek meaningful answers, and yes, they have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends! Young Life Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
